    A common mantra among today’s technology startups is “fail fast.” But, what if you didn’t have to fail at all? That’s the goal of Hardware Studio, a joint venture between Avnet, its Dragon Innovation division and Kickstarter.

    Hardware Studio is designed to mitigate much of the risk in a Kickstarter campaign by smoothing the pathways for makers and startups to bring projects to life. Since its launch in September 2017, Hardware Studio has accepted 20 startup projects into the program.

    Employees of Avnet’s Richardson, Texas branch recently rallied customers and suppliers to raise $15,000 for the non-profit Hope For The Warriors organization, a national program which provides support for United States’ service veterans, active duty troops and military families.

    For the past three years, the Avnet team has hosted a “Driving For Heroes” golf outing benefitting Hope For The Warriors. The proceeds from year’s “Driving For Heroes” event brings Avnet’s total contribution to Hope For
