Peggy Carrieres Featured on CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel List

CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, named Peggy Carrieres, Global Vice President Sales Enablement and Supplier Development, to the 2021 Women of the Channel list. The annual list acknowledges women from all over the IT channel, including vendors, distributors and solution providers, and recognizes the unique strengths, vision and achievements of female leaders in the IT channel.

CRN celebrates these exceptional women featured on the list for their leadership, dedication and channel advocacy. The women honored on this year’s list pushed forward with comprehensive business plans, marketing initiatives and other innovative ideas to support their partners and customers, helping them through the uncertainty brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Specifically, Carrieres leads the global sales enablement efforts across Avnet business teams and champions the company’s global IP&E supplier development efforts. She is the executive sponsor of Avnet’s business intelligence and market research teams, and leads Avnet’s global demand creation and customer experience feedback systems. In addition, Carrieres pioneered Avnet’s Women in Sales peer mentoring group which meets monthly to discuss strategies to support success for women in technology sales roles at any stage of their career.

Carrieres boasts over 25 years of supplier and channel experience working in the electronics components industry in strategy, supply chain, pricing, forecasting, sales, and customer program management.
