Newark, an Avnet Company, recently exhibited at embedded world North America 2025 at the Anaheim Convention Center, where engineers, developers and industry partners explored the latest embedded technology. Visitors stopped by the Newark booth to see AI and IoT development kits, watch live demonstrations and join hourly hands-on workshops designed to accelerate Edge AI and cloud-connected projects.
Live demos highlighted real-world Edge AI applications, including facial recognition and object detection, showing how quickly engineers could get started with next-generation technologies. Workshops led by Newark, Avnet along with top supplier technologies offered practical, step-by-step experience in powering up and securing Edge AI applications. Avnet’s IoT solutions, including the /IOTCONNECT platform, were also on display, demonstrating scalable pathways from device to cloud.
The booth also introduced The DevKit HQ, Newark’s new online resource for embedded evaluation boards, development kits and single-board computers. Engineers can search for kits by application, making it a useful tool for every stage of development.
