There's still time to Declare your Intention to participate in the Hack Like Heck challenge for a chance to be among 10 finalists who will win $500 each for their project video and be in the running for the Grand Prize–a trip to Madison Wisconsin to appear in a future episode of The Ben Heck Show. Here's what you need to do by March 31, 2018:
- If you have not already done so, create an element14 Community user profile
- Create a blog post or discussion thread with the title "[your name] Intends to Hack Like Heck"
- In the body of your blog post or discussion thread, include the following
- Declaration of Intent
- "I intend to make a video that shows me creating a working handheld portable gaming device"
- Acknowledgment of deadline
- "I will post the video on the element14 Community site before 9:00 am CST on April 2, 2018"
- Willingness to accept prize
- "If my video is selected as one of the top ten submissions, I will receive $500.00 USD"
- Any other information that you want to share about yourself or your project
About Hack Like Heck:
Hack Like Heck is an element14 Video Talent Competition designed to find new and emerging Video Content Partners who are passionate about electronics and are interested in sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge with a broad audience. In order to support this search for emerging content creators, the team has organized “Hack Like Heck,” in which members have the opportunity to share their personality and passion for electronics and create and submit a project video for a chance to win $500.
