Employees of Avnet’s Richardson, Texas branch recently rallied customers and suppliers to raise $15,000 for the non-profit Hope For The Warriors organization, a national program which provides support for United States’ service veterans, active duty troops and military families.
For the past three years, the Avnet team has hosted a “Driving For Heroes” golf outing benefitting Hope For The Warriors. The proceeds from year’s “Driving For Heroes” event brings Avnet’s total contribution to Hope For The Warriors to more than $60,000.
Hope For The Warriors provides a variety of support programs focused on transition services, clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and community development and engagement.
