With billions of connected devices talking to each other in the growing IoT universe, device security and authentication are a must for today’s tech manufacturers. EBV Elekronik has collaborated with Infineon Technologies AG and Data I/O to create the new Secure-it personalization service for secure devices, designed to protect products from hacking, counterfeiting and data theft.
Secure-it integrates custom embedded security into applications. The programming machine from Data I/O is housed in a secure environment in the Avnet Logistics warehouse in Poing, Germany. The machine embeds confidential data, like encryption keys and certificates, onto a blank secure device that best fits the customers’ applications.
