Flex, the Sketch-to-Scale™ solutions provider, recognized Avnet as a “2017 Preferred Supplier” at its Global Supplier Summit in Silicon Valley. Avnet’s Pete Zimmer, vice president, global and strategic accounts and Tom McCartney, senior vice president, global and strategic accounts were on hand to receive the award from Flex Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer Tom Linton.
The annual Preferred Supplier Award recognizes the top one percent of Flex’s more than 14,000 suppliers worldwide for outstanding performance, strategic value-add, excellent service, innovation and collaboration. Suppliers selected for the award were nominated by Flex procurement and supply chain professionals and employees from various business groups throughout the enterprise.
