Pete Bartolotta is responsible for scaling Avnet’s high-growth businesses, expanding customer opportunities, and advancing the organization’s transformation through operational excellence. He oversees the company’s IoT strategy, in addition to Global Design Services, Avnet Integrated, Emerging Businesses, Strategy and Innovation and Transformation. Bartolotta reports to CEO Bill Amelio. 

Joining Avnet in 2016 as the Chief Transformation Officer, Bartolotta led the company’s transformation and drove operational improvements throughout the business while also helping to create its end-to-end ecosystem. These advancements sparked new growth opportunities, including improved customer experience, by optimizing productivity and cost efficiencies across the organization. 

Bartolotta has extensive P&L and operations experience in addition to expertise across supply chain management, engineering and quality. He has a proven track record of transformative change and profitable growth. Prior to joining Avnet, Bartolotta served as the CEO of Terra Point and MD Toxicology Group. His career experience also includes COO and President for Helicopter Services at CHC, where he implemented global systems that significantly reduced 172 disparate systems down to six enterprise systems and led transformation to improve operational efficiency. His career spans leadership roles at Lenovo, NCR Corporation, Allied Signal, and IBM.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from State University of New York at Binghamton and an MBA from University of Texas at Austin.
