Summer school: NXP tackles embedded tech, human-machine interaction in training series

Monday, August 13, 2018 5:46 pm MST

To transform human-machine interaction for the increasingly automated and connected world, you need the technology and guidance to get there. That’s why Avnet and NXP are teaming up for a series of workshops. The goal is to help educate design engineers and creators on how to turn the latest and greatest in processors into the next innovation in consumer technology, industrial automation or mobile computing.

The i.MX 8M seminar series combines theory with practice. Lectures on processor application, SoC architecture and enablement tools are combined with hands-on learning, allowing attendees to do everything from unboxing and setting up the board to a full understanding of all the graphics features.

During the series, attendees will benefit from personalized classes and workshops from technical subject matter experts. No matter the market or the skill level, the workshops seek to provide education and immediate skill development in hands-on training sessions.

As a global leader in the semiconductor industry, NXP hopes engineers can get inspired through this array of cutting-edge, multi-market live-demos—and Avnet, as one of NXP’s biggest partners, acts as the guide to connect creators to the resources they want and need.
