Dayna Badhorn, Global Vice President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Marketing

Dayna Badhorn leads the Global Strategic Planning and Corporate Marketing teams. In this role, she is responsible for working across global business units to identify growth opportunities that will enhance the company’s overall business portfolio, financial strength and market value. She also oversees the strategy, planning and development of Avnet’s global marketing initiatives, including branding, communications, and content.



Badhorn joined Avnet in 1998 and has held leadership roles in sales, technical support, supplier management and business development. In 2010, she was named vice president, strategic planning for the Electronic Components global business, where she led the digital transformation initiative and several other global growth programs. In 2016, she launched and oversaw Avnet’s Emerging Business teams to find, evaluate and develop new profitable business opportunities, particularly in the startup space. This included managing the Avnet online communities Hackster.io and element14.



Ms. Badhorn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
