Each year, the list includes a growing cohort of black men and women driving the global competitiveness of America's largest corporations.

Summers is responsible for Avnet's global IT strategy and enterprise effectiveness initiative. He leads the company's Global Information Solutions team and sets the IT roadmap strategy that helps differentiate Avnet as a technology leader. Prior to joining Avnet in 2016, Summers managed the technology efforts of several large-scale IT organizations including: H&R Block, Lowe's, Whirlpool and The Coca-Cola Company, and held senior executive positions at AT&T and GE.
